Playing in Porto Carras
May 23 and 24 saw the 27th consecutive George Attard-Manche Golf and Tennis Classic with the venue once again the Porto Carras Grand Resort in Greece.
About 200 people, mainly from Bulgaria, joined in the popular annual event either by participating in the golf or tennis or simply enjoying the superb facilities of the resort.
The sporting facilities were in pristine condition, not least of all the golf course which is just being prepared for a pro-am tournament. This helped to ensure the standard of golf was somewhat higher than usual. As usual, the tennis was keenly contested and produced some exciting play and close matches.
