Bulgarian world figure skating champion Maxim Staviiski was involved in a car accident near Ropotamo River on the road between Primorsko and Bourgas.
One of the people in the other car, Petar Petrov (24), died in the accident, Focus news agency reported.
Three other people who were in the same car as Petrov were injured. One, a girl, is in a coma with head injuries. She has been identified and her parents have been informed.
Staviiski, reported to have been driving a Humvee, was not injured, media reports said.
The cause of the accident was not known.
