WORLD LEADING BOOKMAKER RANKS BULGARIA'S BERBATOV SECOND AMONG SCORERS IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

UK Tottenham forward Dimitar Berbatov from Bulgaria is the second-best bet to become the goal master of the Champions league in the new season, according to leading world bookmaker Sportingbet.

Bets for the event have been accepted with 9.00 coefficient. First is Didier Drogba from Chelsea, 5.00, and third is Andriy Shevchenko from Chelsea.

The ranking continues with Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United and Michael Owen from Newcastle.

Recently Tottenham coach Martin Jol said that he expected that Berbatov was going to perform better next season.

The UK team bought Berbatov in May 2006 from Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen, paying 10.9 million pounds.

i think michael owen is going to be the top scorer and after him the second and the third places are reserved for steven gerrard and fernando torres.what a club would be liverpool if michael owen would be with them as well.
