Global Vision Circle launches a series of musical events under the title World Beat Nights – Dancing Around The Globe.

A set with DJ Russ Jones, from the UK duo Future World Funk, will mark the opening of the initiative on December 14 2007. Jones will play at Sofia’s club Pulse on 50 Samuil str at 10.30pm. The entrance is 10 leva.

Future World Funk mixes Afro-beat, Brazilian drum’n’bass, Japanese funk, Latin hip-hop and Caribbean raga.

World Beat Nights – Dancing Around The Globe is a series of thematic parties which aims to present different national cultures from all over the planet in the form of dance club parties. The parties feature specific music, visuals, dances and atmosphere, typical for the culture presented.

The events in Sofia will feature African, Brazilian, Indian and Caribbean nights. The parties will take place every Friday from January to May 2008. Each party will be accompanied by an exclusive event – live act, drum circle, dance workshop and performance, exhibition and promotion, among others.
