Two Bulgarian women became richer winning highly rated reality shows Survivor Bulgaria and Big Brother.
The winners were named almost simultaneously as the finals were scheduled for the same time, December 11 2006, 8pm.
Nelly Ivanova, 29-year old administrator from Bourgas won Survivor's final and the award of 250 000 leva. Ivanova defeated gym owner Ahmed Shouganov, aged 26. Shouganov won 25 000 leva.
Survivor's producers surprised tattoo fan Atanas Ganev who ranked third and gave him an award of 15 000 leva.
Liubov Stancheva aged 21 won the third season of Big Brother in Bulgaria. She took part in the show together with her triplet sisters who were dismissed earlier in the show. Stancheva won 200 000 leva.
Big Brother's initial award was 500 000 leva but decreased every time the participants violated the rules and reached 200 000.
