Ludmila Putina, wife of the Russian Federation’s president Vladimir Putin will visit Bulgaria on September 17 and 18 2007.
Putina’s visit is on the occasion of the 11th congress of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature.
The event will be held in Bulgaria’s coastal city of Varna, Focus news agency reported.
Russia’s first lady will take part in the opening of the congress.
Putina and Bulgarian president’s wife Zorka Purvanova will attend the name-giving ceremony of the Russian language test centre of Sofia University ST. Kliment Ohridski. The centre will be called Academician Viktor Vinogradov.
