VOTE BUYING IN BULGARIA TO BE PUNISHED

Everyone attempting to buy votes in the upcoming presidential elections on October 22 faces a prison sentence.

On August 30 Members of Parliament accepted new changes to the Penal Code that would affect the elections, Novinar newspaper reported.

According to the amendments everyone who offers payment in return for a vote faces a two to three years prison sentence. People who vote several times would be fined by 500 to 2000 leva, Novinar reported.

State Administration Minister Nikolai Vassilev also launched the procedure for the selection of a company that would manufacture the transparent ballot boxes for the elections.

In case the execution of the project was delayed, the company was going to pay damages totaling 60 per cent of the project value, Vassilev said.

Let these presidencial elections be the last,and let Bulgaria be the first Eastern European Country to restore its Geat Monarchy and find stability and unity and Peace.Al the Democratic Countries of the Western Europe have preserved their Monarchies,because they respect their History and know how to combine both systems Democracy and Monarchy.
