Bulgarian villages will receive additional funding of 10.5 million leva from the SAPARD programme aimed at infrastructure renovation.
Infrastructure projects to apply for SAPARD funding have to evaluated at up to 100 000 leva, state agriculture fund head Dimitar Tadarukov said as quoted by Focus news agency.
The requirement will allow more than 100 Bulgarian municipalities improve their infrastructure within the next three months, Tadarukov said.
All projects and contracts have to be completed by October 12, 2007.
Additional 100 000 leva will be allocated for the funding of all projects answering the requirements under the agro-ecological measure of SAPARD, Deputy Agriculture and Forestry Minister Dimitar Peichev said.
