THE Government should establish conditions for the development of information technologies, Finance Minister Milen Velchev told a Business and Innovations Expo conference at the Kempinski Zografski Hotel last Thursday, organised by Cisco Systems.
Business processes should be streamlined and confidence should be built in the IT industry, Velchev said.
He said the electronic government project was gaining momentum. A strict distinction should be made between the responsibilities of administration and information technologies, Velchev said. The culture of administration should change and citizens should actively join the dialogue between central and local government.
