The US government is to grant $3 million in military aid to Bulgaria, a Defence Ministry media statement said.
The US Coalition Solidarity Fund would provide the amount, the statement said.
Bulgaria has already received $15 million from the fund in 2006. It also received $9.9 million from the Foreign Military Financing programme.
The Coalition Solidarity Fund was set up in May 2005 to finance US coalition partners that contribute to the Iraq and Afghanistan missions.
The US highly appreciated its strategic partnership with Bulgaria and Bulgaria's support, the statement said.
