Uriah Heep and Nazareth will perform in Varna as part of celebrations for the 24 May Bulgarian education and culture day.

The concert will take place in the Nezavisimost square on the eve of the holiday, on May 23 at 7 pm, Darik Radio reported. The show is sponsored by chairman of Varna city council Borislav Goutsanov and tickets are free.

Bulgarian rock band D2 will provide the warm up for the concert.

After the Varna concert, the celebrities will move on to Stara Zagora, where they will open the summer rock and rap festival. They will perform especially for the high-school graduates, Darik Radio said.
