Unit six of Kozloduy nuclear power plant (NPP) has been put into production again on October 30 2007.
The reactor was taken out of production in the beginning of September 2007 for its scheduled annual repair, Focus news agency said.
Nuclear Regulatory Agency did a check-up of the unit.
By 9am on October 31 2007, the reactor had reached 75 per cent of its capacity and it would continue increasing its output, according a schedule of the central dispatcher office of the Electricity System Operator.
During the repair, technicians completed the last part of the modernisation programme for units five and six.
After the repair of unit six, Kozloduy NPP would provide Bulgaria’s energy system with 2000 megawatts.
