An extremely precious gold treasure was found near the coastal village of Sinemorets, Darik Radio reported.
The finds were Thracian and consisted of gold dishes, unique crown and a pair of earrings, gold and silver jewellery and religious clay plates with images of the Goddess Mother Earth.
The treasure was found while local people were digging a hill to look for construction materials, Darik said.
Archaeologists from the Bourgas region, where Sinemorets is located, arrived to the place. The excavations continued non-stop, Darik said.
Armed policemen guard the excavation area.
