The national employment plan for 2007 envisions unemployment level below nine per cent.
Policies of the Labour and Social Policy Ministry will target mainly low-qualified workers, unemployed youth, people with disabilities and unemployed Bulgarians aged above 50.
Employment levels in 2007 should reach 59 per cent of the Bulgarians aged 15 to 64, the employment plan said.
The number of registered unemployed people in 2007 should decrease by more than seven per cent. Programmes will provide work for 82 000 people and 31 000 people will undergo training and pre-qualification.
State budget will provide 190 million leva for labour market policies. Additional funds will come from the PHARE programme and other foreign organisations.
