UK’s Blackburn might sign Levski Sofia striker Valeri Domovchiyski, the club’s manager Mark Hughes admitted.
Domovchiyski arrived in Blackburn on a five-day trial and “boss Mark Hughes has not ruled out swooping for the 21-year-old,” goal.com said.
Domovchiyski had scored 60 goals in 121 matches for Levski, goal.com said.
“We've had good reports on him. I haven't seen him first hand, obviously, which is why we are bringing him in… He's also a decent age for us and if there's a deal to be made, then we are in a position to do that” Hughes told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
Levski Sofia owner Todor Batkov confirmed that Domovchiyski was “on the verge of signing a deal” with Blackburn, Agence France-Presse said.
Levski management had already approved the transfer conditions offered by Blackburn and Domovchiyski was to negotiate his personal conditions, Batkov said.
