Cabinet approved a co-operation memorandum that Bulgaria and the UK signed on June 7 2007.
The memorandum focuses on joint defence training and the provision of the needed conditions for such activities by the hosting country.
Each training will be described further in a separate agreement.
Through the memorandum, Bulgaria and the UK put together a framework guiding principles for the carrying out of such trainings, standards, type of training and maintenance.
Disciplinary and legal issues will be taken care of in accordance with the agreements that Bulgaria and the UK have signed with NATO.
Control and command will correspond to local and NATO regulations.
