TWO MINISTERIAL RESIGNATIONS IN BULGARIA INSUFFICIENT-SVINAROV

The issue for former National Movement Simeon II (NMSII) leaving the ruling coalition was very serious and should be carefully analysed, party representative Nikolai Svinarov said.

Svinarov commented media reports that the party would possibly leave the ruling coalition.

Instability followed after corruption controversies shook Bulgaria, resulting in the resignation of two ministers. Two resignations and two structural changes in Cabinet are insufficient, Svinarov said. New people should replace current politicians, Svinarov said.

All delegates participating in a NMSII summit on June 3 supported the suggestion of party member Solomon Passi for leaving the ruling coalition. Party members had to consider the consequences of such a decision, Svinarov said as quoted by Focus news agency.
