Police in the northern Greek town of Serres detained two Bulgarians for alleged involvement in an international personal data forgery ring.
According to police, the suspects had installed a special micro-camera on an ATM machine in a bank in Serres, Focus news agency reported.
The suspects used an electronic micro-system to record personal data of ATM machine users. The forgers used the information they collected to make bank cards.
Reportedly, the two people in custody were part of an international network headquartered in Bulgaria.
Police said that the two Bulgarians were caught red-handed removing a self-made device from an ATM.
