In Bulgaria it is always like this - there could be months on end without any big concert, and all of a sudden, there are two of them in just a couple of days. Such will be the case in the end of July. On July 25, the US metal legends Metallica come for a second shaking, record-breaking concert in Bulgaria, after the legendary one in Plovdiv in 1999. Two days later, Lenny Kravitz will provide fans with macho-melodious Love Revolution Tour beats.
Metallica will perform at Vassil Levski Stadium at 9pm, warmed up by their compatriots Down, the band of former Pantera lead singer Phil Anselmo, and The Sword, who will appear on the stage at 7pm. The concert is one of the most eagerly awaited events in Bulgaria. Literally almost everybody will be there.
Tickets are still available at the price of 40, 50 and 70 leva via eventim.bg. Beware of fake tickets. In June, Bulgarian-language media reported that fake tickets were being sold. The forged tickets were so well done that only the bar code was wrong. According to Monitor daily, the fake tickles all had the serial number 0000923050.
Following the crazy night, you’ll have two days to relax and get ready for the Love Revolution of Lenny Kravitz at Akademik Stadium. This concert also starts at 9pm with local Ostava warming up for Kravitz. Tickets are sold for 50 and 55 leva on the Ticketstream network.
Whatever your musical preferences may be, the offer is hot. Take it or leave it, and just remember that in Bulgaria, it is always like this: there could be months before the next big concert.
