The court in Tripoli would hold its next sitting in the trial of the Bulgarian nurses charged with intentional HIV infection on September 12.
On September 5 the court postponed its sitting due to the absence of the lawyer of the Palestinian doctor on trial for the same charges as the nurses, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
The lawyers of the infected Libyan children would present their speeches during the September 12 sitting, followed by the attorneys of the Bulgarians.
In case the lawyer of the Palestinian doctor is missing again, the court would assign another defender to take his place. One of the lawyers of the Bulgarians, Osman Bizanti, said he could also represent the doctor.
According to Libyan law, once it hears the pleas, the court has 30 days to present its final verdict.
