The trial against Montenegrin-born alleged drug boss Budimir Kujović and three Bulgarians will continue on July 23, the Haskovo Distric Court decided on July 8 2008.
Additional investigation into several SIM-cards used by the four would be made, BTA quoted the regional prosecutor of Hasko Peter Midov as saying.
Kujović and three Bulgarians were accused of running an organised crime group and smuggling large quantities of drugs.
When the four where arrested, they were in the posession of heroin and emphetamines, with an estimated worth of over 7 million leva, Bulgarian daily Dnevnik said. The maximum penalty the law envisions is up to 20 years imprisonment and a fine of up to 300 thousand leva.
The trail has been delayed several times before because defendants did not appear.
