The annex to the agreement for the construction of Trakia highway will be tabled in Cabinet within the coming week.

Regional Development Minister Assen Gagauzov said that the ministry and concessionaire already clarified all issues related to contract changes.

Recently Cabinet demanded some changes to the already signed concession agreement.

Removal of state traffic guarantees and concessionaire responsibility for all construction-related risks featured among Cabinet demands. The initially negotiated construction price should also remain unchanged.

The consortium of Bulgarian and Portuguese companies selected as concessionaire was given time until February 15 to take decision on the state demands.

Within the set time limit, the concessionaire said it agreed with the new state demands.
