Bulgarian volleyball team fell in a tough group in FIVB World Cup 2007 in Japan.

The team will meet European champion Spain and world champion Brazil. The other teams in the group are the US, Egypt and Puerto Rico.

Japan, Russia, Australia, Argentina, Tunisia and Korea were in the other group in the tournament, Focus news agency reported.

Bulgaria and Korea enter the competition with a wild card.

The tournament would be held between November 18 and December 2 2007, fivb.org said.

The competition was the first of three Olympic qualification steps for Beijing 2008, fivb.org said. The three best male and the three best female teams will join the Chinese teams, already qualified for the 2008 Olympics as host country.
