Third Bozhkov-controlled company to list on BSE

A third infrastructure company, majority-owned by controversial businessman Vassil Bozhkov, will be listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), Dnevnik daily reported on April 9.

The Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) gave a green light to the prospectus of Zhelezoputna Infrastructura, in which Bozhkov owns 80 per cent.

Two other companies controlled by Bulgaria's richest businessman listed on the bourse are Holding Putishta and Moststroy.

Lead manager of the initial public offering (IPO) will be the United Bulgarian Bank. According to the prospectus, the company will raise its issue 5.58 million new shares with a minimum price of five leva each.

The IPO will be considered successful if bidders subscribe to 2.5 million shares. Proceeds are estimated at 28 million leva. Zhelezoputna Infrastructura was set up last year by merging several companies in the railway infrastructure line of business or related activities.
