THE SOFIA ECHO SALUTES GREECE IN BULGARIA
12:38 Wed 26 Mar 2008

A special full-colour special feature on the Greek community in Bulgaria appears in the latest issue of The Sofia Echo, published on March 28.

The special feature includes coverage on tourism opportunities in Greece, Greek wine, the honour given by Greece to the Bulgarian firefighters who helped extinguish last summer’s infernos in Greece, interviews with some of the leading Greek expatriates in Bulgaria, and an essay on the Greek role in Bulgarian history.

Appearing with the latest issue of The Sofia Echo is Month2Come, 40 pages of information on what’s new, what’s coming up in Bulgaria in music, cinema, theatre and art, and special interviews with an expatriate and one of Bulgaria’s premier chefs.

This week, The Sofia Echo reports on the national controversy surrounding the allegations against top current and former members of the Interior Ministry, outlines the story of plans to close a large number of schools in Bulgaria, and explores regional reaction to the latest developments surrounding Kosovo.

Our business section has coverage of the Bobov Dol saga, the latest trends in IPOs, and the Serbian view on Bulgarian business in Serbia after the announcement in Sofia that Bulgaria would recognise Kosovo as an independent state.

Along with all of this are our regular television and cinema listings, restaurant and venue reviews, and guide to upcoming sport on TV.
