The First Chamber of the Dutch States General will discuss and ratify Bulgaria and Romania's EU accession treaty on June 13.
The sitting of the Dutch national assembly would start at 2.30pm local time, Bulgarian National Radio reported. The conclusion of the ratification process is expected later the same evening.
Dutch foreign minister Bernard Bot and European affairs minister Atzo Nicolai will be present at the sitting and will answer the questions of senators.
On February 7 the Second Chamber of the States General approved with majority the accession treaty. The First Chamber is also expected to ratify the treaty. The ratification procedures would be concluded once the treaty is published in the State Gazette.
The ratification process started on September 19 2005, when the treaty was proposed for voting in the parliament.
