Litex’s goalkeeper Todor Todorov was once again his team’s hero. On March 15 Litex beat reigning champions Levski 0:1 after Todorov saved a penalty. Three days earlier the two teams met in the quarter-finals of the Bulgarian cup. Todorov was outstanding in this game as Litex won 4:3 on penalties. After league matches on March 15, CSKA leads the championship with 48 points, Lokomotiv Sofia is second with 40 and Levski is third with 37 points. Slavia with 34 points and Todorov’s team with 30 points are fourth and fifth, respectively.
