The long-awaited Depeche Mode concert in Bulgaria occurred on June 21 in front of huge audience. Sofia’s Lokomotiv stadium hosted the event.

Warm-up band Nova Generatsia (New Generation) failed to really excite the fans, who impatiently awaited the start of the actual show.

The stadium was divided in the middle by a set of screens, which however blocked view to the stage. In the most dramatic moment, when the actual Depeche Mode performance began the technical equipment failed preventing fans in the back of the stadium from seeing what was happening on the stage.

Depeche Mode naturally managed to excite the audience with their new tracks, as well as with classic hits.

The event really began to heat up with the performance of all-time favourites like Enjoy the Silence and Personal Jesus. 

Light effects provided impressive background for the performance. More than 30 000 fans, including visitors from Bulgaria's neighbouring countries witnessed the concert.
