Synthetic drugs worth nearly two million dollars were seized today by the service for combating organised crime’s Plovdiv department and the Plovdiv regional prosecution.
Three men were detained as a result of the police operation, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
Police arrested the men, two Bulgarians and one Turkish citizen, while they were concluding a transaction involving 100 kg of synthetic drugs. All narcotic substance came in the form of pills, the national radio reported.
The Bulgarians had to take the drugs to Turkey. The entire amount was stored in the apartment of the Turkish citizen.
During a search in the apartments of the detained men, police found equipment used for the creation of fake passports, visas and banknotes.
