Golden Sands coastal resort will hold a ceremony on April 20 to mark officially that start of summer season 2007.
Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev and head of the State Agency for Tourism (SAT) Anelia Kroushkova will attend the ceremony.
Before the start of the summer season, on April 19 Kroushkova and deputy SAT chairperson Stanislav Novakov will take part in a session of the national tourism council.
The national tourism council is a consultative body under SAT’s supervision. Its summit is needed to discuss tourism law changes and the national advertising campaign for 2007.
Council members will also discuss the development of spa, wellness and medical tourism in Bulgaria.
