The two-day forum is expected to bring together more than 500 participants, twice as many as the number during the previous edition.

Participants in the forum would discuss Bulgaria's EU entry and the manners in which foreign tourism agencies could aid the development of the region.

Deputy head of the State Agency for Tourism (SAT) Stanislav Novakov will open the forum on January 10.

Some of the lecturers to take part in the expo include head of the Valencia regional office in Brussels Juan Manuel Revuelta, mayors of Bulgarian cities and president of the Greek National Tourism Organisation Yiannis Patelis.
