SOUHODOL ORGANISES CHRISTMAS HORO AGAINST SOFIA'S WASTE

On Christmas Day, Souhodol would dance a horo (ring or chain dance) against the opening of the landfill for Sofia's waste, the organising committee announced.

On December 23, around 100 people from Souhodol protested against the landfill, Zagrada.bg said.

Earlier in December protesters decided to protest every Saturday and Sunday.

It's very nice seeing people dance and have fun, but couldn't these dancing people better use their energy to convince the Sofian municipality to finally stop arguing and finally start building a plant to process all waste from Sofia so no further landfills will be nessecary. In the end this will save a lot of money and bring some heat in Sofian houses. STOP debating and START building before Sofia gets to be one big waste dump.
