As of February 18, all customers of Sofia water concessionaire Sofiyska Voda would be able to pay their water bills by debit or credit cards at the company's service centres, the company said.
Point-of-sale (POS) terminals were made available at all nine offices to enable the customers to pay their bills without carrying cash.
The centres are open during the working weekdays from 8am until 7pm, with the two in the Mladost 4 and Zona B-5 districts working until 6pm. On Saturdays, the offices in the Sofia districts Mladost I, Krasno Selo, Nadezhda I, Suhata Reka, Luylin V and Zona B-5 are open from 9am until 2pm.
Around 20 000 customers visit Sofiyska Voda service centres every month.
The company's press office told The Sofia Echo that the company’s clients could also pay their bills in the post offices and in Easy Pay bureaus. Another option was the Internet websites Epay and EBG.
