On January 16, Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria (DSB) put up posters with the text "Putin go home" in the centre of Sofia.

Later in the day, the party announced that it had received a threat from the Sofia municipality, warning them to take down the posters, Dnevnik daily said. DSB said that if they would not take down the posters, they would be fined.

Sofia municipality said that the warning was not a political decision, but that the posters had been put up in places where this was not allowed, including electricity posts.

Amazing. Putin managed to buy off Bat Boyko just by giving him an award, the Order of Lomonosov, from the Academy of Security and Defence. Why doesn't Borisov go and live in Russia if he's so keen to suppress free speech?
