Atanas Paskalev, Sofia Echo Media’s commercial director, won Bulgaria’s first office golf tournament.

More than 20 representatives of leading companies took part in the competition. Paskalev’s result of 29 points granted him the first place.

The manager of FINLAB Todor Gergov ranked second. Tsvetomir Bozhkov, Mag Studio’s art director took the third place in the St Sofia Golf Club tournament.

Neil Turley, the club’s director of golf, made a special technique demonstration for all present at the event.

The office golf championship was launched in January. Nearly 30 Bulgarian and international companies took part in the event. Companies like national private television channel bTV, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and First Investment Bank took part in the competition alongside Sofia Echo Media.

St Sofia teams set special golf courses in each office and provided all equipment needed for the games to take place at each workplace.

The aim of the organisers was to promote golf in Bulgaria by presenting the game to a big number of people, novini.dir.bg reported.
