Snoop Dogg to hit Bulgaria September 18

US rapper Snoop Dogg is to stage a concert in Bulgaria's capital of Sofia on September 18 2008, organisers Balkan Entertainment Company announced.

In a first-ever appearance before his Bulgarian fans, Snoop Dogg will perform songs from his latest album Ego Trippin'.

The show will be held at the Zimen Dvorets na Sporta (Winter Palace of Sport) in Studentski Grad. Tickets have been on sale since July 29. The price of the first 1000 is 30 leva, the rest will be sold for 40 leva. Those who make a last-minute purchase will have to pay extra as tickets on the day of the concert will cost 50 leva.

In addition to being a rapper, Grammy award nominee Snoop Dogg (whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr.) is a record producer as well as an actor.
