15:17 Fri 03 Feb 2006

The Times describes some of the most attractive ski property in various countries. One of the destinations the publication recommends is Bulgaria.

Property in Bulgaria guarantees investment return of 12 per cent, The Times reports. Because ski resorts are attractive both in the summer and the winter, the return is twice as high as the one from coastal property.

Bulgaria attracts investors with the relatively low property prices and inexpensive ski passes, The Times reports. Bulgarian ski tracks are moderately challenging and recommended mostly to inexperienced skiers. Winter in the country lasts from mid-December to late March, the publication writes.

In the summer most ski resorts are sparsely populated. Tourists can engage in various activities, including hiking, mountain biking and fishing. The Times also recommends Black Sea resorts, as well as exploration of Bulgaria's cultural heritage.

Bansko is presented as one of the best ski resorts in the country. Property there is less expensive than the one in the Alps but the conditions are excellent, the Times concludes.
