THE potential war against Iraq may cause the cancellation of the World Figure Skating Championship in Wa-shington, scheduled for March 24 and 30. This was announced by the Bulgarian figure skating pair, Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski, slated among the main contenders for medals. They filed documents for a US visa at the US embassy in Moscow, but were asked to wait until March 17, because in the event of a strike against Iraq, the championship might be cancelled.
