Environment and Water Affairs Minister Djevdet Chakurov signed the draft-orders for the proclamation of six territories part of the European environmental network Natura 2000.
The territories in question are Pozhrevo Island, Stenata, Yatata, Ibisha Island, Lakut Island and Konush dam preserved zones, a Council of Ministers press release said.
The draft-orders for the inclusion in Natura 2000 envisions to a ban only on activities, which would indisputably harm the preserved area, like landscape destruction, digging or forestation.
All interested parties have a 30-day term to file objections.
The Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water Affairs, which manages the preserved areas will organise work meetings on October 25 2007 to present officially the draft-orders.
On October 25, the National Biodiversity Council will discuss the inclusion of another 44 areas in Natura 2000.
