Bulgaria's electric energy system operator has selected six electricity distributors to receive the rights to import and export electricity starting in October, announced the company on September 20.
Eight companies had made offers for the procurement of capacity for trade across our borders with Romania, Greece and Serbia, mediapool.bg said.
National Electricity Company (NEC) received the largest capacity for transactions between Romania and Bulgaria in both directions, from our territory to Serbia, and across the Bulgarian – Greek border in both directions.
Czech Trade Bulgaria was selected for trade across the Romanian – Bulgarian border in both directions. The daughter company of Czech CEZ received the right for export to Serbia.
EFT Bulgaria would export to Romania. Vivid Power, Arcadia Service and Enemona Utilities all received the rights for transactions across the Greek – Bulgarian border in both directions.
