SIDEROV'S NATIONAL PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF BULGARIA EXCLUDES MRF
12:32 Fri 28 Dec 2007 - Rene Beekman

In an interview with Bulgarian news agency BTA, Ataka leader Volen Siderov said he intended to propose to all political parties, with the exception of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), a national plan for the development of Bulgaria.

According to Siderov, this national plan could be based on a discussion platform, which would outline the strategic development of Bulgaria for next 20 years at least.

Siderov said he expected to receive support for his idea.

According to Siderov, his party had shown in 2007 that it would become one of the three main political parties to form the next parliament.

Early parliamentary elections would be possible because of an ever deepening crisis in the ruling majority, Siderov said. But he did not expect those to take place until the Bulgarian Socialist Party and MRF would have prepared themselves and would have agreed on a coalition with GERB.
