Bulgarian electronic music promoter Metropolis is planning two large-scale parties in the beginning of 2008. Two of the electronic stage's emblematic artists will be coming on February 22 and April 19, the 12th birthday of Metropolis.

The first to visit Bulgaria is Sharam from the legendary duo Deep Dish, which consists of Ali Dubfire Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi. Special guest for the Metropolis birthday party is Carl Cox.

Grammy winner Sharam Tayebi will come for the fist time to Bulgaria. Metropolis has engaged the whole second level of the City Centre Sofia shopping centre's underground parking for the event.

Carl Cox, the number 7 in DJ Magazine's 2007 Best DJs Chart, will come to Bulgaria for the third time. The legendary DJ played before 5000 electronic music fans in 2004 in Zala Festivalna (Festival Hall). His performance, with Bulgarian band Gravity Co as warm-up act, was considered Metropolis' best party ever.

Deep Dish gained popularity with their house and dance remixes of artists such as Madonna, Cher and Gabrielle.
