Two Scandinavian air companies will start flying to Bulgarian Black Sea coastal cities starting summer 2007.
Norwegian Air Shuttle will start flights from Oslo to Bourgas and Varna from April 14, investor.bg reported.
The flights will continue until October 29.
Air Shuttle operates as a low-cost air carrier, yet the prices of charter flights to Bulgaria are high. The price for a one-way ticket from Oslo to Bourgas will vary from 120 to 247 euro, airport taxes included, depending on the season.
The company has in its portfolio 10 internal and 77 European routes including Oslo-London, Geneva, Madrid, Paris, Munich and Athens.
The other Scandinavian company to launch flights to Bulgaria is Sterling, which will fly every Sunday between Copenhagen and Bourgas. The round trip costs from 170 to 250 euro, airport taxes included.
Sterling is the inheritor of Danish Sterling Airways operating on several European destinations.
