Russian-Bulgarian investor Bultera has announced its intentions to invest seven million euro in the construction of four production facilities for penoplast, simprolit, bio-diesel and rapeseed oil near the town of Simitli.

Bultera said that it was going to patent the technology for penoplast and simprolit production, investor.bg reported. Investments in the plant will total 1.25 million euro.

The first plant's output will be used for the realisation of several projects. The first one is a spa complex with total build-up area of 130 000 sq m in the town of Sandanski. The second one is a complex near the village of Shkorpilovtsi in the region of Varna.

The isolation bricks made of simprolit will afterwards be offered on the market.

Another plant will be constructed for penoplast production, which is the material of which simprolit is made.

Investors' intentions are to start the construction of a bio-diesel plant, which is expected to start operating in 2008. The raw material for its production will be imported from Russia.
