The signing of the Bourgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline agreement between Bulgaria, Russia and Greece could be postponed.
Russia was seeking for a delay, Greek media said as quoted by mediapool.bg.
Greek development minister Dimitris Sioufas sent letter to his Bulgarian and Russian counterparts, Assen Gagauzov and Viktor Hristenko, suggesting the agreement to be signed on March 6 2007 in Athens.
Bulgaria’s Regional Development and Public Works Ministry said that it lacked any information for change in the date of the signing.
According to unofficial information Russia has not approved the date yet.
Possibilities for Russian president Vladimir Putin to assist the signing had decreased significantly, Greek media said as quoted by mediapool.bg.
