Romania’s biggest construction materials distributor Arabesque plans to set up a network of trade centres under the brand of Budmax in Bulgaria.
The company already has sales and logistic centre in Sofia with a warehouse area of 17 500 sq m, Romanian newspaper Ziarul Financiar said.
Arabesque plans to have a total of five trade centres in the next three years, the rest of them located in Varna, Bourgas, Plovdiv and Veliko Turnovo.
The company targeted corporate clients, such as construction companies, architecture bureaus, interior design companies, among others, Pari daily said.
Budmax shops will offer about 25 000 articles.
Arabesque expects the construction activity in the country to remain high. Construction sector investments in Bulgaria reached 2.3 to 2.6 bullion euro, which is 30 per cent of those in Romania, the company said as quoted by Pari.
Arabesque is the second big Romanian company to enter the Bulgarian market after furnish producer Mobexpert.
