Bulgarian rightist party Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) said that Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev should dismiss eight ministers from the current Cabinet.
Energy and Economy Minister Rumen Ovcharov features among ministers who have to leave their position, DSB deputy chair Vesselin Metodiev said. According to the party Ovcharov approved unfavourable for Bulgaria energy agreement with Russia.
DSB also called for the resignations of the Justice, Disaster Management, Agriculture and Forestry, Environment and Water Affairs, Health Minister and Labour and Social Policy ministers.
DSB accused these ministers of malfeasance, Focus news agency reported.
If Stanishev failed to carry out Cabinet changes, the country would face political and governance crisis, Metodiev said.
