![]() | With regards to your article RESORTS IN BULGARIA TO BENEFIT FROM SNOWLESS WINTER IN EUROPE
This was obviously written by one of three people:
1: Property Developer
2: Real Estate Agent
3: The Mayor of Bansko
There has been no snow in any of the 3 Bulgarian resorts apart from 1cm smatterings. Most of the snow has been man made and very unskiable. As for Europeans flocking to the resorts, I think you will find that because of the lack of snow, Europeans are actually avoiding Bulgaria.
Rental income potential is high as people prefer apartments. Apartment rentals are up, but certainly not at levels you are hinting at.
Smple Calculation on the maginative 800,000 guests for Bansko.
800,000 Guests divided nto 15,000 beds n a 12 week season equals 4.444 guests per bed per night......Cosy
Your report is outrageous and full of blatent lies designed to boost ether a failing holiday season or downturn in development sales. Outrageous

![]() | I totally agree with the comments above.
The lack of snow can even be seen on the webcams available for all major bulgarian resorts. "15cm of fresh snow daily" ???
This is one of the warmest and most snowless winters in Bulgaria since 15 years or more.
If developers and property owners aim at attracting european tourists they should make more effort making our resorts european in all aspects not only prices. | ![]() |
