Nearly 200 soldiers located in the US air base in German Ramstein will complete an aviation training in Bulgaria on March 30.
The training of US and Bulgarian airmen was part of Thracian Spring 2007 joint programme, US military Stars and Stripes daily reported.
Bulgaria imposes fewer flight restrictions compared to Germany, which allowed the pilots accomplish low-level missions using transport aircrafts C-130.
US medical personnel also took part in the training, US Embassy in Bulgaria said.
The military plans of US armed forces include the sending soldiers to Bulgaria in the summer of 2007. The soldiers will undergo training in Bulgarian military bases.
Bulgaria and US already signed a 10-year agreement for joint use of three Bulgarian bases in April 2006, the report said. US troops currently located in Germany will use the bases on temporary contracts.
US airmen arrived at Bulgarian Bezmer airbase on March 23.
Ramstein pilots of C-130 aircrafts plan other trainings in Norway, Romania and Poland.
