State Agency for Tourism’s (SAT) suggestion for regional division of Bulgaria's tourism attractions is the best way to present the country on the foreign market, tourism expert Diana Bozhkova said.
Regional tourism division was needed because of the wide range of tourism products existing in the country, Bozhkova said as quoted by Focus news agency.
Each region in Bulgaria has its specific appearance and landmarks. That is why regional division is a very good approach to present Bulgaria, Bozhkova said.
Earlier, SAT head Anelia Kroushkova suggested the regional division as a way to present Bulgaria during international tourism fairs.
Kroushkova said that a number of countries used the system to present their tourism products. Bulgaria could be divided into already well-known regions and into regions that have the potential to develop as tourism destinations.
